Gathering activity
Today’s Bible story is about hanging on – this game is about how long you can hang on to the sweet! Hand out chocolates, e.g. buttons, Maltesers™, or soft fruit pastilles or gums and challenge the children not to chew them. The person that can keep the sweet in their mouth the longest before it dissolves, wins. It may take longer than five minutes so you could award a small prize later in the session.
