FOR CHILDREN
- We have good news to share but sometimes it isn’t easy. God says, ‘Do not be afraid’. Stand the children in two rows, A and B, facing each other, making sure there is a good, large step-length between them. Ask row A to take a big step towards their partner and, as they do, they all say ‘Do not be afraid’. Then tell the partner something they want to say about God this week. Then step back and repeat with the other person stepping forward.

FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
- Ask the young people to each write down three nouns that describe who they are. Then they should rank them in order of importance. Does ‘Christian’ appear in the list?
- Ask: What nouns might others use to describe you? Can you think of ways in which you might be able to communicate your story more effectively? Would you worry about the consequences if you did?

Look for an opportunity this week to tell somebody the story of your faith. Remember that there are many ways you could do this –not all of them involve using words. S A
