Resources for Remembrance 2021

This year's Remembrance events may be unlike any that have come before.

These free resources help you invite everyone to remember those important to them, and to reflect on the impact of the last 18 months. Download them now

With these resources, you can welcome:

  • people who have never come to church before, as well as regular attenders
  • those at all ages and stages of life.

Resources include:

  • a way of opening and closing a service or event
  • a suggested Bible passage
  • four powerful images. Three were created by professional artists; one was created by a 10-year-old girl. They all reflect experiences of life in the pandemic lockdown of 2020-21, and come with suggested activities to help people mark this time of remembrance.

There is no charge, but we do ask you to tell us a little about yourself.  This will take less than 1 minute and helps us plan future free resources.

These resources are part of ROOTS' Discovering God resources: practical ideas for informal, themed services and events where the focus is on creating community and a sense of belonging, demonstrating that the church is available to all. Underpinning the materials is an intention to gather together and with God, sharing experiences and stories, and learning together. Find out more about ROOTS
