March/April issue highlights from Pam

Welcome to our March/April issue which is packed full of seasonal delights to share with your church and community:

  • There is a new holiday club resource based on Daniel called Standing Strong with God which would make ideal half-term fun for local children.
  • Following on from our popular Christmas and Remembrance trails, we’ve devised an outdoor Easter Trail for young families to enjoy.
  • And we’re excited to bring you An Easter journey around the world, a flexible session exploring the Easter story and how it is marked by Christians across the globe.

In the weekly materials our Lent journey continues as we build up the signposts and waymarks throughout Lent. These signs and markers are connected to our weekly themes, where we discover the significant encounters Jesus had with Nicodemus, the Samaritan woman, the blind man, and Lazarus. If you're a new subscriber, you may not have spotted our NEW! youth Lent resource: Choosing kindness, published last issue.

On Palm Sunday we also use the Passion readings as we ponder Jesus’ journey to the cross. For Easter Sunday we look at the groundbreaking good news of Jesus’ resurrection and, in the following weeks, we unpack what this means for the Christian community, then and now. There’s a new drama, too, based on the Emmaus Road story; ‘Bread to share’ .

My thanks to all who shape and hone these materials so that we can bring them to you, our valued subscribers.

Every blessing
