Rosemary Nixon, Director

| Rosemary started working with ROOTS in August 2005. She has a
background in educational publishing and worked at OUP for 13 years
in the English Language Teaching Division. Since going freelance in
2000, she has project managed, written and edited a range of
educational materials including Key Stage 1 and 2 literacy
programmes. She is an active member of her local church in north
Oxfordshire, leading the choir and contributing to lay-led services. |
Maureen Baldwin, Editor, ROOTS
Children and Young People |
| Maureen took over as editor of CYP in March 2005. She has worked
with children and young people of every age range in formal and
informal education settings. She trained to teach infants before
spending a number of years in full time youth ministry. After a
spell teaching in Kenya she returned to her home county of
Lancashire to teach and subsequently head up a successful RE
department. This led her back to youth ministry where she created
and managed resources for a youth work charity. Maureen has been a
writer and served on the Editorial Board of ROOTS before her
appointment as Editor. She lives in Kirkham near Blackpool where her
husband is church organist and she is involved in children’s and
youth ministry at a local level. |
| Gill Ambrose, Editor, ROOTS Worship (ROOTS Adult & All Age

Gill Ambrose became Editor of ROOTS Worship
early in 2007 after being the Children's Work Adviser for Ely
diocese for over twenty years. She originally trained as a primary
school teacher and worked in schools in Sheffield and Cambridge
before becoming a full-time mum, when she did all sorts of things!
She has written and contributed to a number of books about worship
and education and is currently a member of the Church of England
Liturgical Commission and of the General Synod. Her husband is the
vicar of an Anglican parish and they have a Godly Play classroom in
their garden.

Peter Nicholls, Web Editor |
| Peter worked on the Churchschools.co.uk management site and
was involved in ROOTS as a member of the Editorial Group
before taking over as web editor early in 2005. He
runs www.allbelievers.org.uk
to encourage lay ministry, and an associated eLearning organisation
that offers on-line courses for Christian adults. Most of his life
he has worked in young people's and adult education and still enjoys
it. He also likes the countryside where he lives and the
combination of wine and conversation. He is involved in a rural
Anglican benefice with a particular interest in developing 'church' for those who are not normally interested. |
