Section by section

In the Sunday content listings, here's what you can expect to find under each heading.

Lectionary iconThe Lectionary section is where you'll find the full Bible notes on the readings for the day.

Think it through iconUnder Think it through you'll sometimes find material to help with connecting the Bible with everyday life. More often, though, the ideas in 'Be creative' will cover this aspect, so this section does not always appear.

Pray iconPray offers suggested prayers and prayer ideas. As well as the text of all the prayers from both magazines for you to copy into projections and orders of service, there are specially commissioned prayers each Sunday, for both church worship and for use with children.

Be creative iconBe creative is where you'll find all sorts of ideas for creative exploration in worship, from retellings of Bible readings, to true stories, drama sketches, poems, images that you can print off to use on an OHP, and perhaps even a template for a craft activity. It's also where we put the printable versions of the children's activity sheets, in PDF format.

Music and other resources iconMusic and other resources is where you'll find the resources lists, including live web links, and occasionally the words or music for a new song.

Common Worship variation iconCommon Worship variation is a heading that won't appear every Sunday, and that won't be needed by all users. If, however, your church follows the Church of England's Common Worship lectionary, then look out for it, as this is where you'll find the material supporting the different reading on those occasions when the Common Worship lectionary differs from the Revised Common Lectionary.
