ROOTS Children & Young People
The
Children & Young People magazine provides resources for worshipping and learning with children and young people aged from three up to about 16 years old. The material can be used with mixed age groups or in age banded groups.
Weekly resources
In the weekly ROOTS resources there is a cohesive theme or direction, called the
common thread. This unites the materials across the age range and over both the magazines, so that everyone will have the opportunity to explore the same biblical focus.
The materials offer ideas to select from and adapt for the group to make a linked sequence of activities to suit the size, age range, timing and location of your session. A planning section gives an overview of the week, ideas for music, seasonal resources, and films and books that link to the theme of the week. |
